I heard about this on the news this morning while eating breakfast. One interesting point that was made on the Today show by the person covering the article, was a comment made by the White House concerning the statement. They said that though the President’s comments were more blunt, that the content of what was said and the position on which the President commented were still the same.
Which is very good to point out that even what is said in “private”, is still the position and stance that the President stands on publicly.
